The field museum is free to all Illinois residents who show the ticket counter a Illinois state Id or drivers license for the whole month of febuary.
You do not have to be a resident of the city of Chicago… You do however have to be a resident of the state of Illinois to get in for free. Whomever is under the impression that only Chicago residents get in for free… They are 💯 wrong. I live in the suburbs, and every free day offered I get in for free
