Is kayaking allowed on the Galien River?? Is there a place to easily put kayaks in??

Yes, you can launch directly on the river off red arrow highwy, at New Buffalo beach, and at New Buffalo boat launch

Yes you can kayak in the Galien River. If you go a little bit farther north past this park on the right hand side there is a boat launch and a small parking area. You will pass New Buffalo Township hall & then Kruger Rd and the little parking area is right after you cross over the river on the right.
