This is a lovely spot to bring the children and deserves a look if you are in the area looking to lounge by the lake. I have marked I down for three reasons, firstly, the parking facilities are under served for busy weekends, the parking attendants who are quick to ticket, could place a Car Lot Full sign across the entrance to stop the crush. Secondly, the boardwalk stops 30 meters too soon, I cannot imagine the tide washing it away but I may be wrong. Thirdly, I got a ticket so sour grapes dictate. 😋

great, Great, GREAT! This is a wonderful place for a picnic. It is not very noticeable and you might drive right past without even noticing it. There are bathrooms, a walking path through the woods, a splash pad, picnic tables, Bocce ball, grills for cooking. It is beautifully landscaped, quiet and peaceful.

The beach is a bit small but beautiful. I recommend going a little further down where it's less crowded. Sunsets there are nice and there are many homes to rent within five minutes of walking distance.
