Cooking: what's the cooking situation like? Is there a fire pit at each site or is there a community pit? Can we bring/use charcoal for the grills? Any recommendations for what to bring for food? Specifically dinner?

Each camping spot has a fire pit with a grill on it for cooking. Bring whatever you can cook over an open fire or charcoal or bring a portable propane stove. They are not mutual each camping site has its own fire pit. We camp there very often

There are fire pits with grills and they sell wood. Bring newspaper lighting fire. Burgers or hot dogs on the grill. We though always make taco dinner camping... Need a small stove for that. There is a washing up sink.
