Yes you can
We were just there 9/1-9/3 and fires we allowed in their pits.
As with most camp sites, fires can be had in approved fire pits permitting that the conditions allow for it. I know that there are BBQ pits that you can use to cook. Asking the local camp ranger when you get there would be your best bet to be safe.
