there s no one better trail than another. I tend to go for the Vista views of the ridge to the shady redwood canopy and move from one to another.

You will need to be more specific. There are many miles of trails all suitable for equestrian use. Do you want views? Low incline? What kind of ride do you want.
You can ask the rangers as you enter through the main gate, other than that I couldn't tell you much. Have fun
