Had a great time camping in a small yurt at Mount Madonna. Would definitely recommend. Book in advance. These are often sold out.

Beautiful trails! We took miller trail then moved into upper trail, ridge trail, contour trail, Blackhawk, redwood. The trails are very easy to locate as they are well numbered all along the route. Hence it was easier to move from one into another trail. The nature is so relaxing with lots and lots of Blue jay, and other birds, chirping and the small water stream all surrounded red oaks. The trials are not very difficult hence it is worth exploring with kids too.

My favorite place to hike. The scenery is beautiful, the drive up is beautiful and there's typically plenty of parking everytime I've gone. I've also camped at this campground and many of the campsites are shaded and conveniently close to other trails to hike as well.

Very nice park. Good work uo climb to ridge on wide fire roads. Mostly shaded with lots of second growths redwoods.

there s no one better trail than another. I tend to go for the Vista views of the ridge to the shady redwood canopy and move from one to another.
Feb 2018 grass is green and some flowers on the trails. This park's trails are mostly covered in the shade of the redwoods so you'll get some flowers but it's not really known for it's wildflowers.
Not the hiking paths. Perimeter road might be, but you will have to deal with traffic.
You would have to call the ranger station, sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
The showers at the campsites are for your use if you stay even one night. In fact I have seen people who aren't camping use them. You will need quarters to pay.
No. Just seasonal creeks that you're not allowed to swim or wade in. Sunset Beach is a 20 minute drive away.
I do not know Yama the parke.
Yes, dogs are allowed in the campgrounds and on trails. They must be on leash or in a kennel at all times.
Its hit or miss, was at Indian Camp ground and had some reception with T-Mobile, some other had Sprint with more reception.
I don't think there is a limit
That's what I have heard in the past. I've gone many, many times & have never encountered anything remotely haunting in all my visits to the park or on my way to & from the park .
There are no cabins that I know of, there are camping grounds only. Around $30 a night.
Do what full time? There is overnight camping if that is your question?
34.00 for tent to 44. And up for rv /electrical
The park closes at sunset, don't know what accommodations they make for campers late arrivals
Yes
