Well organized temple. Very peaceful, devine experience. Casual setting with amazing views. Washrooms facility available. Reservation required - please try to email a week before as there is a lot of crowd expected especially Saturday. It gets foggy mid day giving a great feel to meditate in the temple.

This temple is close to the hiking trails of mount Madonna. Very peaceful place at top of the hills. Main deity of the temple is Hanuman and this place is calm and composed. They have a toga centre and small cafe. The roads leading to the temple is dense and you might lose network coverage like us. Please have offline google maps for save returns. Wonderful experience driving that far and visiting such nice temple

The reservation is more of a crowd management system. Make sure you enter the right number of people who will be visiting the temple. Change in vehicles must be OK.
Hi there Balu, Unfortunately we do not have an escalator or elevator at the Temple, but there is a road that you can use to drive up right behind the Temple and be dropped off. Just let the staff know of your needs when you arrive.
Yes you can bring garland and food
I am also checking their website, often. No temple opening date for public announced yet.
It's opened but you need reservations.. Evening Aarti is at 6pm
Please write an email to them for reservations. They are open only on reservation basis
Yes but please write an email before going and schedule an appointment
You need to email or call to request for limited access on Saturday. They are allowing limited access on Saturday.
It is mostly an outdoor Temple and only the pujaris go inside the main Temple. There is a way to give wheelchair access to the same areas where people walk so that you can see Hanuman. There is no wheelchair access to the Ganesh temple, but he is visible from the ground. Please be advised that the Center is closed until September 2021.
Mount Madonna Center and the Temple are still closed to the public until at least May. Please check the website for updates. We are doing everything we can to make it possible to host guests as soon as we can.
Hello. At this time the Center and Temple will not be open to visitors until at least May 2021. Please continue to check the website for updates.
Mount Madonna Center (where the Temple iis located) is closed until at least February of 2021. Please check https://temple.mountmadonna.org for updates.
Hello Arti, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, Mount Madonna Center (where the Temple is located) remains closed to the public visitors. We are not booking reservations at this time, but hopefully we will see you in February, when we plan to reopen!
No, I'm sorry but Mount Madonna Center (where the Temple is located) is closed to visitors until at least September 1. Stay current by checking https://temple.mountmadonna.org/.
Reservations are required for Saturdays, Sundays, and some holidays (https://reservations.mountmadonna.org/holidays).
Hello Hanaa. If you are visiting on a Saturday between 11a-7p, Sunday (we are only open between 4-7p), or a holiday, you DO need a reservation. Thanks!
Veterans day will not affect our normal hours. Open from 6am to 7pm. Arati is at 6:30am and 6:00pm.
Reservations are released everyday at 9am for the coming weekend. If you can't get a reservation one day, try again the next day. It's best to be logged in before 9am so that you can reserve right at 9am. Do not come up without a reservation (even at 5:30pm) or you will be turned back.
All correct above. Do visit! And do read the guidelines posted on its website such as no pets, outside food (other than prassadam), etc. This is a wonderful and sacred place. Respect and enjoy. Jai!
Family allowed in one reservation. Its based on car not by number of people. . They should specify more clearly. RESERVATION IS ONLY FOR CAR
You need to contact the temple itself. Good luck.
Yes, you do. On Sunday, we are open to the public from 4-7pm only, and you need reservations during those times.
There isn't any steps if you can come from behind the temple. Way which leads to restroom.
As of right now, no reservation is needed for a weekday visit. However...the exceptions are those holidays that fall on weekdays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day), when reservations ARE required. Thanks for checking!
Yes..a little bit here and there in time is acceptable
Buses to temple ? From Monterey?
go to mountmadona center site and do it.
Hi Dipti ~ Reservations are made available daily at 9am for the entire week prior to the weekend (when reservations are required), so you have multiple chances to make a reservation. Only very rarely do they go in 2 minutes. However, it is true that in the summer season, we have more demand than we can accommodate. I suggest trying earlier in the week, when reservations are available longer. Otherwise, YES, as of now, you can arrive before 11am on Saturday without a reservation.
Hello Vijay, there is no way to edit the existing reservation, but there is also no need! The Gate staff can adjust the numbers of guests in your car when you arrive. Just note that we do not adjust the number of cars, however; the reservation is for one car only.
Aarti timings: 6:30AM 6:00PM
If you arrive before 11am, you will not need a reservation. Just be very sure to leave plenty of time to arrive here, because if you arrive after 11am, a reservation will be required.
Not sure about timings. Reservation is not required on regular days, required only on weekends and public holidays. Yes, can bring fruits and flowers.
Yes, we can accommodate visitors who arrive up to 1 hour early or 1 hour after their reservation time, so a 1:30p arrival time for a 12:30 reservation is no problem. (However, please note that we do not open until 4pm on Sunday, so 4p is the earliest you can arrive on that day.) There is no need to call the office or the Temple line if you are within 1 hour of your reservation time. Thanks for checking!
7:00pm
Reservation are required only on weekends, roads are good to ride
The temple is open all day through Friday and Saturday. But you need reservation if planning to visit on Saturdays as the parking spots are very much limited
Mount Madonna Center and the Temple are open on Saturdays between 6am-7pm, and reservations are only required between 11a-7p (as of now). On Sundays, the open hours are 4-7p, and you need a reservation to visit during that time. The Center is closed before 4p on Sundays.
Parking place is not to large that's why you need a reservation in weekend. I went there in normal week day so no question of reservations.
