Is the campground walking distance to the lodge?

Yes, but it wouldn't be a short walk. check out Google maps it's got a good layout of the park.

I think it's about 2 miles if you take the road and maybe 1.5 mile hike if you take the red cedar trail. Easily walkable but I don't know what you consider walking distance.
