For clarification as many people have given misleading info.. the mke zoo pass will not work at Racine. But if does work at zoos throughout the nation for entry and discounts. They have a recripeocation guide on their site. The Racine zoo is a great family fun stop for all ages. It's small enough to enjoy in a few hours and enriching enough to spend better part of a day. If you combine maybe a picnic and some time for the kids on the play area. In the late spring summer early fall months they have a petting zoo and an aviary with parakeets to feed and get to stand on you. While it's no Milwaukee zoo. It's also a different experience entirely. Definitely recommend it
During the warmer months of the year you are able to feed giraffes for $5 dollars a person and feed birds for $3 a person. There is also creature feature and wildlife theater where you get to learn about and touch different animals
The Racine zoo does not take the Milwaukee zoo pass. There is a petting zoo inside.
@Sandy Mack yes they have a bird exhibit where you can feed and hold the birds
The zoo pass for Milwaukee is only good for Milwaukee County. Yes, there is interaction with the animals at different times during certain events.
Can not use the Zoo pass. The reason is Milwaukee is too close and the Milwaukee Zoo would like you to support that local zoo. During the summer season there is interaction with the animals.
Absolutely!!
Yes take your Zoo pass from Milwaukee. I have a Zoo pass from Pittsburgh Zoo and I was able to get a 50% discount.
They have an amazing behind the scenes where you get to meet and pet and feed plenty of animals. I highly recommend it. Not sure about Milwaukee zoo passes though, you do get a discount on an already cheap admission.
No they don't take them from Milwaukee. It is observe only.
