Very glad we took a trip to Racine Zoo today! We spent about 3 hours and walked about 3 miles during the visit. Decently priced and the kids learned about a few animals. There were MANY exhibits closed which is why I'm giving 4 stars.

I love going to zoos. The Racine Zoo is small, but the perfect size for the city. They have all kinds of things going on throughout the year. I enjoy just going and walking around. I see something new ever time I go. I would recommend going if you are visiting Racine…. or if you live here.

Nice small zoo right in the shore of Lake Michigan. Free parking nearby. I like how the keepers put name tags for the animals by the exhibits making the visit more personable. Concessions open on weekends. Be sure to visit Max and Jenny (orangutans) and Robin and Yule (white handed gibbons) in the primate house.

Winter time zoo visit! It was not at all crowded as can be expected I. The winter months. Many animals were not I. Their exhibits due to the cold. There was a reduced winter rate which made it worth it. $9 for a nice walk around the zoo. Got to see tiger and lions, kangaroos, zebra. Good way to kill an hour or two.

Yes they do.and if they didn't there is a very nice park right avross the street.
Yes.
It is going to be a buffet style brunch which includes scrambled eggs, banana bread, french toast, ham, bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, biscuits & sausage gravy, cheesy potataoes, Kringle, yogurt, mini muffins, and fresh fruit with a juice and coffee station too. If you go to the Racine zoo website you cab find more details about the event.
For clarification as many people have given misleading info.. the mke zoo pass will not work at Racine. But if does work at zoos throughout the nation for entry and discounts. They have a recripeocation guide on their site. The Racine zoo is a great family fun stop for all ages. It's small enough to enjoy in a few hours and enriching enough to spend better part of a day. If you combine maybe a picnic and some time for the kids on the play area. In the late spring summer early fall months they have a petting zoo and an aviary with parakeets to feed and get to stand on you. While it's no Milwaukee zoo. It's also a different experience entirely. Definitely recommend it
I don't know. You would want to call them.
