It is along WA-14. At the base, you can see and hear all the cars and trucks going past. It's not super loud. You're able to have conversations easily. Once you make it a couple hundred feet down the trail, the foliage keeps the noise down. After the first turn, you hardly can see the road or parking lot until you make it to the top. From there, it's peaceful and calm. Just the sounds of nature.
Very very little
The cars you can easily forget about. The trains are cool , my son loves them so we keep an ear out for them coming . And their is a bridge you can stand under as they go by over head .
You can hear the train from up on the rock but it's not objectionable, at least it wasn't to me.
Noise was not at all annoying for our hike.
