As far as I know they are from the Netherlands . They speak their birth tongue . The food is so unique and my family request to be their guest several times a week . Enjoy ! We sure do !
The founders and the current owners of The Dutch Treat are of amish heritage. We speak Pennsylvania Dutch which is actually a dialect of German and is not descended from Dutch at all. We do have some traditional Amish and Mennonite foods as well as more conventional options.
