I don't want to tell you not to go down into the cavern with a 2 year old but I don't think that I would take a child that young down in there because there is a lot of walking down a steep grade and over rocks and then a steep grade back up the cavern. I think 6 years or older would be probably ok.
It will be great for the child ,but be aware a stroller would not be useful, there is a long steep grade down and back and several staircases throughout . Be ready to do some packing.
As long as you are prepared to carry them.
We took our 2 year old. She loved touching the rocks and looking around. There are steps and many areas we carried her. So be prepared for that.

There are many steps that you would need to carry. Also, the entrance/exit to the caverns is quite steep.
