Dogs are allowed off the leash once you leave the park boundary, which is outside the parking areas, through the gates that lead to the trails. The park even hosts a monthly guided dog hike where the dogs can play and socialize on the trail. Check the park event calendar on their Facebook or website. It's free for AZ residents.

Dogs are allowed off the leash inside park boundary. My dog was approached by 3 off leash dogs and I was very nervous. If you are going to let your dog off the leash it needs to be under your voice command and not approaching others!
