Thank you, Robert and Ralph, for answering V Tsal. Additionally, for those who do not have roof racks, Zia Kayaks uses foam rubber bars to protect "naked roofs" before placing kayak. We also use special tie down straps to keep it there. There are several launch spots within a mile from the shop.
Yes. Depending on what you rent or buy, a lot of people carry them on a roof rack or in back of a pickup truck. We have used a small utility trailer.
