I went in to purchase some boot socks as well as a fishing shirt. As an African American man, I felt extremely uncomfortable and there was an associate that followed me around the store and continued to ask if I needed help. She asked several times and when I went to check out, two different cashiers told me their registers were closed. As I was checking out at customer service, the cashiers were happily checking out two white families. I honestly feel sorry for people like this. And only hope things turn around in the near future.

I went into sportsman's warehouse in Wilmington NC off of market street today 03/22/22 at 6pm and I was looking for something in the store and asked three people for help in the clothing department and no one could help me, so I asked the last employee can you get me someone who can and basically they said that there wasn't anyone to answer my question. So I said you lost my business and I will not recommend this store to anyone anymore and I ordered what I needed from Amazon.

Please stay way from this place! I went in to buy some ammo and had found it on line and on sale for more than half the price. I questioned if the would just match the regular price and was told the only web site they matched a price was Midway USA. This is the 4th time I have gone in that hole to buy something and walked out with anything because of the price difference I’ve found online that they have yet to match. That ranged from a $1400 shotgun to a spool of fishing line. I can tell you Academy around the corner was happy to match the price on everything. I’m sure Academy appreciates the way this business is ran. They definitely didn’t mind the $600 I’ve spent in there over the past week and a half!!!!

Went to the store today after receiving 4 separate e-mails about the “balloon pop” with a chance to save up to 100%. I walked in and saw the balloons and asked an employee about it. She told me not to grab one because they were all out????? Made no sense. So, I asked if the coupons were gone as I’m looking right at the balloons that clearly had paper slips inside. She said we are not doing that anymore. So I left. The store had been open for 2 hours at this time so I would assume they had it figured out by now. Thanks for wasting my time.
