If you can’t find whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it here. Not sure why I do this, but I’ll look at other retailers and get frustrated, and then I simply say to myself, go to Summit Hut! They carry quality clothes and a good variety of trusted products. The true treasure is the knowledgeable and helpful staff!

I went to Summit Hut looking for a particular pair of light hiking boots. The gentleman in the Shoe Dept. was very helpful. He explained that what I was looking for is not available at this time. He offered to notify me when the boots come in this summer. Meanwhile, I was browsing through some of the sale items and found a pair of boots to try on. He explained all the benefits of that particular boot and assured me that if I found I did not like them , I would be able to return them to the store. I purchased the boots and they have worked out well. Customer Service at Summit Hut is outstanding. I have been shopping there for many, many years.

This is my favorite place in Tucson to look for 'outdoor' wear and goods. Always has helpful clerks who don't hover. Can be a bit pricey but that's the manufacturers not the store itself. Many quality brands. Interior is spacious, clean and bright.

Went there today for the first time. I thought it was a nice store, had a good selection of the things I was looking for, and I'm glad I went. I wasn't intending to write a review, but I want to help counteract the nonsense that is Linden's and Militza's reviews. Yes, they currently ask people to wear masks and their staff wear them. They also want you to wear clothes and shoes, and they probably don't want people smoking in their store. Didn't see anyone whining in the reviews about those rules. If you've got time to waste and like reading reviews, click on Linden's name on his review to see his other reviews. Quite the whiner. As for the used gear, I like that they sell used gear. It's high quality, the used items I saw appeared to be VERY lightly used, and it makes really amazing (and pricey) brands more affordable for people who might be priced out otherwise. Plus, if you buy gear for a child who grows or someone who decides to pursue a different hobby, it's a way to make money back on your previous purchases to buy more new stuff. Or used. Whatever floats your boat. Jumping off my soapbox now. Sheesh.
