There's a difference between dog friendly and following the law and only allowing service dogs.
Please adjust that because that doesn't mean dog friendly, that's a law.
Dog friendly in Durango is a little different than other places. The health department has very strict rules about where dogs are allowed. Animas Brewing has a great patio, and you can have your pup on the outside. There is water and usually several other dogs. In the scheme of things I would say it is dog friendly! Just understand they cannot be at your table.
Service animal are allowed inside restaurants in patios and outside enclosed areas.
