My cat keeps throwing up. He's not acting sick at all. I changed the type of food. I've cut back his food amount and feed him once in the morning and once in the evening. It'll seem like he's doing better and then he start throwing up again. Help?

I would take him into the vet. Even if he isn't acting sick, there might be something going on in his stomach. It may be an allergy and the vet would be the best to answer why he is throwing up. They should be able to point you in the direction of a different brand of food to try

Like my wife replied we have the same problem with 7 of her cats if we change brands of cat food or the flavor they will eat like crazy and then vomit switch back no problems...

Trt changing back to the cat food he had before. Our cat did the same thing when we changed food.

Digestion issues. Try half wet and half dry. He also may be drinking too much water before or after eating. Good luck.

Is he shedding? Are you noticing clumps of fur in what he is expelling? Are you brushing him out? A checkup at your vet may be in order to rule out any less obvious medical concerns.

If a cat is throwing up its generally not a good sign. Our cat thats 10 years old will throw up once in a while when jumping off countertop after eatting and vet said thats not usual to happen but if she vomits on a regular basis then to bring her in ASAP...if your cat is a outside cat then it could have gotten into someones poison for.mice or rats like my other cat and had to be treated with meds..
