I take care of a small box turtle. The toenails need trimming badly! The beak also appears way too long. Does your store have facilities to help with this issue?

Another resource for your problem that I would recommend is the person that works in the reptile exhibit at the zoo. I had a problem with a Red Ear Slider, a water turtle, and I found out very quickly that only a vet training in exotic animals are going to be able to help; I was in Houston, Texas at the time. One kind soul ask me if I had contacted the Houston Zoo. That was the best help, they had me pack Kendall in an insulated lunch box and bring him to the Reptile House on a day the zoo was closed, it was winter, and they checked him out, snout to tail, weighed him and said I could call them any time I had a question. I would hazard a quess that is most likely the best place for you to contact about your little guy. Good luck.

If suggest a vet clinic instead of petco for trimming the turtles nails.

Unfortunately Kathleen, I believe they only provide direct services for cats and dogs. However, they may have an outside vendor to recommend for your situation.
