i am booking an oceanfront king, not top floor. what is the view like for these rooms? some pictures make it look like there is another hotel blocking some of the view?

No other hotels in front. It will be a direct view of the park below as well as the cove. Hands down the best views around.

Agree. Just left today. If you have an ocean view you will see and hear sea lions and seals.

Ocean view from all rooms hotel front. The lower floors may be a bit louder - you can hear traffic, people walking by. We stayed on the 4th floor right above exit to the parking lot. It was a perfect view of ocean and LaJolla Cove.

Any ocean view from all levels is beautiful

The view should be nice. It can be really loud though.

You should have a view no matter where you stay on the property! Hands down the best part about this place.
