Target's food prices are amazingly cheap- much better than most supermarkets, and with a decent variety. There isn't as much produce as you'd find at a regular grocery store; however, I have yet to purchase anything refrigerated, frozen or canned from there which turns out to be spoilt, moldy, rotten, etc. Their coffee selection is good- always cheapest Starbuck's and Peet's, and the store's generic brands are fine (inc.coffee); some good deals on adult-type cereals; and what they can't get rid of on clearance or have in overstock ends up being donated to people in need (elderly/poor/disabled, etc.)- I am going there to get groceries today and I PROMISE I do not work for Target; I'm just someone who is BROKE and will only buy total junk if I go to the $1 store.
