Skyler there are a variety of trails on and around Skinners butte .adjacent to the butte is a bike trail walking trail along the Willamette River .its an extension agreement joining parks together .there are playgrounds for children and many scenic views along the river front.I've been on the trails around the butte I would consider them safe for kids .toddlers I would assume to carry them although there is a green lawn atop for toddlers to play.great view too from atop the butte.parking is limited at the top fyi.thanks skyler s.

Defnitely a safe place. Up higher, maybe keep an eye on them but the way up is safe.

That is relative. I have seen toddlers on the trail many times. I would take my toddler on the trail if i had a toddler.
