Great park. Nice play ground for the younger kids. Basketball court nice and smooth good hoops. Skate park and volleyball. Picnic shelters and grills available for use.

Enjoyed a 60th birthday party for daughters mother in law. The weather was awful but with the covered area reserved for her party, it accommodated about 40 people very nicely. It would handle probably 60 easily. Facilities are clean. Playground area adequate to keep children busy.

Emerald Park has been a staple destination location for the River Road area since as far back as I can remember. The tall old trees provide excellent shade for the summer months, a medium amount of park benches, a kids pool for the tots, a full community rec center. It's kept clean and had excellent landscaping. 4.5 / 5 stars.

Yes there is a kiddie wading pool that's open in the summer.
I do not believe so, no.
There aren't any hiking trails, there is a walking trail it pretty much goes on a loop and there is a big grassy area where you can have a dog on a leash. They are pet 🐕 friendly.
