Skinner butte is rundown , overgrown with weeds every where you look specially at the top. The bottom of the park at the riverfront it's kept fairly well. The butte's climbing column surroundings needs to be cleared of dry weeds. Over all ok . The top of the butte is not a place to relax, loud car radio playing, people smoking all kinds of garbage. The trails to get to the top are ok. Left the park with a bad taste in my mouth after seeing a guy shooting up garbage up his arm in the parking lot. Not a place for a family with youngster.

It's a great park to relax But i think the restrooms need more privacy .

This is a beautiful park. The design is creative. The playground structure is about three floors. Younger children need to be supervised if it's their first time. The Willamette river runs along the park. There is a water fountain for children to get wet. There's a sand play area. It has plenty of parking. This kids can enjoy multiple activities. There's picnic tables, benches and plenty of grassy areas. It has multiple activities. Make sure to check out their website. It has rock climbing, fishing, biking, hiking, and so forth.

Loved the trails! Some are very easy and some are hard. Was a perfect 2.5 mile walk with great vantage sights! Only downside is litter and graffiti bit it's a hiking butte in the middle of the city do not much one can do.

Not at Skinner butte .perhaps along the adjacent park following the river.
Skyler there are a variety of trails on and around Skinners butte .adjacent to the butte is a bike trail walking trail along the Willamette River .its an extension agreement joining parks together .there are playgrounds for children and many scenic views along the river front.I've been on the trails around the butte I would consider them safe for kids .toddlers I would assume to carry them although there is a green lawn atop for toddlers to play.great view too from atop the butte.parking is limited at the top fyi.thanks skyler s.
It is not
I am at the park, have been to the swings, no wallet.
I've seen it turned on as late as June 21st.
