The hours and days open change from week to week depending on condition. I always call ahead and ask if there lifts are running and how the conditions are.

Hrs of operation are : mon-thurs 3pm-10pm and fri-sat 9am-11pm sun-9am-10pm . this changes during "winter break" .

The hours of operation change depending on conditions. Next time check the website for availability, or like Mike Jones said call ahead of time.
I remember we some years ago, on the way up to Timberline, there was a large open meadow with people tubing and sledding down. They had to hike up the hill themselves, but the cost was free to them. It was fairly close to the resort, on your way uphill, it was on the left-hand side.
