Kingship LLC, we use a triple filtration system on all of our beverage dispensers, tea and coffee brewers, and water for the freshly made lemonade. Our ice machine has a reverse osmosis water filter installed for its water supply. I apologize if your visit was not up to our normal standards. Please feel free to give us a call and we will make it right. Have a great day!

I can only speak about diet coke, but it was absolutely fine.

Never had that problem. . .

Their lemonade usually tastes great! I don't know about the soda, but a filter issue sounds legit.

I would guess a "bad filtration" system is all I can think of right off hand. Probably they need to change a water filter or two here and there. Dirty filters would likely not only affect the water, but also the ice since it's all coming through the same water supply. I don't know about a "soap" taste specifically, but I experience bad tasting drinks at restaurants now and again. Usually it's going to be either due to dirty filters, OR because they don't use water filters at all. That said, I rarely drink soda and 98% of the time I drink water; but bad taste is especially noticeable with water more than soft drinks. I only ate at this place one time and the water tasted GREAT! What I remember is that the chicken bits tasted more like soggy chunks of cardboard than anything else...
