We were thinking about going out here for memorial day, just to swim and have a picnic. We have never been. Is it packed like thunderbird, is it nice, do u have to pay to swim?

Very busy on Memorial Day, and yes you will have to pay to get into the area with the swim beach.

I really enjoy lake Arcadia but yes it will be packed out. And yes it cost to swim if I remember right is is 7.00 per car on the weekend.
