We had our almost two year old in a backpack carrier. A few areas where you have to crouch low. It was a success.
A woman in our group had a 2 1/2 year old. She stayed in the back with us so it didn't hold up the group and she had her daughter wearing a backpack with a very short "leash" attached to the backpack (I hate calling it that because I feel it was a great idea). It worked great, she was able to enjoy the sights and know exactly where her little one was as there are some areas that could be dangerous for a little one if you don't have a close eye on them (a few people in our group scared me a few times not paying attention to their kids). There are a lot of stairs so unless you can handle the extra wt and some tight spaces to get thru I would look for the alternative option.
I don't think it is advisable. It is very low ceilings&, narrow in places.definitely not for a 2 year old. No .
Uyou can get through
You can make it thru
Yes but very low overhead in places. And dark.
I think a backpack carrier would be fine. Might be a little tricky in a couple spots, but doable.
They can walk through if you hold hands and stay at the end of the line. The backpack would be fine except in 2 spots.
You could easily get through with the backpack on. If they're walking it would be tough since the ground is very uneven and rough in places.
There are areas that require you to bend down to get through which does not give you enough space if you have a baby in a backpack.
