No firewood for sale at site. We had to go back down to town and bought them at the general store. I would suggest buying some and other needed supplies before heading up the mountain. It's about a 25 min drive, one way.
I didn't see anyone there or any wood for sale. I am not sure if you can have a fire there at this time. There's probably wood for sale in Pine Mountain Club which is a small town nearby.
The forest service did some clearing 2020 and much of it is still lying around so no shortage of (free) firewood. The problem is due to high level fire danger camp fires are forbidden and have been for months. This has become a yearly problem since 2020. Closed place to buy firewood by the way is the Pine Mountain Club store about 20 miles east or 30 minutes drive. There is no on site camp host thus no one to buy things from.
