That really depends on you but most of the time no and the people at Edge are really professional and good at what they do
Ear lobes are pretty easy. There is a small pinch feeling, much like when getting a shot. But, it goes away almost instantly, and you will just have that feeling left from the heat sensitive nerves in your ear...will just feel warm. We have had 7 year olds make it through without a single tear :) it will be a MUCH better experience than having them done with one of the awful piercing guns...and the healing process afterwards is much easier!!
