This campground is fantastic. The most beautiful lakeside campground we've ever camped at in 20 years of camping. Every site (except 4 of them) is on the water. 50/30 amp service with water at every site. Sites are spacious. Management was great and the locals were very gracious. The COE designed it right. I could have spent 2 weeks here. Too bad we live in California so I doubt we'll ever get the opportunity to relax in the peacefulness of this place again. We would definitely stay here again.

WOW...less than $30/night for beautiful, large, well-spaced, partially wooded, lakeside lots on Lake Hartwell! No sewer hookups, but has water & electric. Has a dedicated beach, but you can jump in or drop your kayaks in from several sites. Ramps to put your pontoon in as well, but the camping area doesn't seem to have any boats. Quiet, relaxing, lots of birds, clear views to the star-blanketed sky at night. They also have recycling bins near the trash cans...bonus! Oh, & like no mosquitos & very few flies in the midst of summer. Def somewhere we'll stay again!

Nice place with large campsites. A few years ago they cut out large numbers of non native trees so native trees would have room to grow. It's not at wooded as it used to be as a result, but still plenty of shade on most sites.

Nice campground. Many spots for larger campers, with a lot of them being lake front. Bath houses do not give much privacy, but are nicely maintained. Reasonable rates. They close at the end of October so no late fall/winter camping. You can only book 6 months in advance, which makes advance planning a little harder. Nice swim area and playground. I like the fact that the boat ramp is just for campground guests. The people at the gate are always friendly and welcoming. Very laid back atmosphere.

I don't think it's a restriction systematically enforced, it's just that those are the only nights that are not already reserved. My wife and I have camped there twice in the last month, and in both cases, we had to change sites after only one night in order to be able to stay there at all. But there were no restrictions other than the fact that the sites were all booked.
Getting rid of trees that are infested with pine Beatles and also getting rid of the ones that are damaged due to storms.
Not sure if you mean rental campers or campsites, but they don't rent campers. They usually have campsites available most weekdays but not on weekends
It's closed it's not open yet
They have normal power as well.
The lots have a 14 day max stay on them
No
