Yes you can have fun catching.....
It sounds like this area of Sewell Creek has crayfish but very few. However, not far away at the end of Worthington Drive, the creek travels thru an area of dedicated greenspace (there's a small granite dedication pillar indicating it's open to the public). Just walk a few feet into the trees from where the road ends to find the creek. You'll find LOTS of crayfish & other types of fresh water dwellers there!
yes i have caught one myself there before but pretty hard to find honestly.
Yes, but lots of folks are hunting for them.
It is prime habitat for crayfish, but there might a few too many people romping around i the creek foe them to have a sizable population. Evey under 9 yr old kid is over there looking for wildlife.
