Allowed and welcome on a leash. Be sure to bring bags for waste. Dispensers sometimes empty.
Yes, dogs are allowed, but must be on a leash at all times. If your dog(s) is either very timid or somewhat aggressive and you plan to visit on a weekend, I would suggest only going in the early morning (6-9am) or late evening (8-11pm) hours as it is popular, and there is no way to avoid snout-to-snout encounters with people and other dogs. Within 2.7 miles of East Cobb Park, there are several dog parks that have off-leash, fenced areas for dogs to run and play. A couple even have separate areas to separate small and large dogs. EC Park has one "doggie bag" dispenser (loads of trash cans though) and others have stated that it runs out. However, it has always been stocked when I've been there. Bring a flashlight as they don't turn the many lamp post lights on in the evenings for some reason(!?!)
