I can appreciate your input I have a two-page long list of places and this is one of the places that did not help me.i was told straight to my face by the United Way that they didn't want any more people here in Ga. And to think at one point in my life I used to give to them never again the list was long and each one said no we don't do that in there own way.the place for just for women had said to me you must be in the building at 3pm I said I get off work@5 and got to the night job @7until closed she said then you're done.you can't come here. I was in disbelief I was like lady on the phone I'm trying to pay bills the bills don't stop to think the United Way I was told to my face that I have to be on drugs or alcohol in order for me to get some type of help that is outrageous .the most ridiculous thing I ever heard of I've been a tax payer since was 14 I'm still working .. I have to go and develop a horrible habit just to get some type of help..that's bull...
Hey. How are you I am fine. Homelessness, is a scourge on this city. We could sit here all day and discuss how in the world to relieve this blight. But let me try and answer your question. You can get involved with the city of Marietta and their government. Moreover if that does not suite you. You can try out one of the ministry programs that help the homeless. The one that pops in my mind 1st is Must Ministries. They do a lot of great work.
