Both! For larger shows they even open up the balcony

They renovated it about a year ago. I went to see the Residents there a couple of months ago for the first time since the renovation snd the best thing I noticed was the new seats! Lol. It might not make any difference to you younger ppl who stand up front for the entire show, but if you want to sit, they are nice. Othet than that it's still relatively the same appearance wise. It's my favorite venue to see a band in Atlanta. It's an intimate setting that seats around 1,000. There are no bad seats.
