You pay for what they cut and weigh, not what you order. I ordered a 1/2 lb of brisket but they actually cut, weighed and gave me almost 3/4 lb. I was surprised at my total and realized this only after I examined my receipt.
You assume you got exactly a half pound...they charge by weight. You probably got more than a half pound. Also, if you want more bread, ask for it! I know I do... I make sandwiches and eat at the bar. I asked for more bread last Saturday and they tried to give me a half a loaf! I laughed and said I didn't mean that much 🍞!
it's not likely that it's ever going to be exactly a half a pound when they slice and their honest when weighing their meat . It works like a grocery deli and doing the best job they can to service everyone's needs.
Free 🍞
They should tell you the cut was "heavy" and ask if that is ok.
Bread is free
The bread should have been free
