northern part of the trail is less crowded and nice for stroll along the creek. there is a children's play area right next to the creek when you walk from spring creek southwards.

Such a cute spot. It’s playground is designed for ages 2-5. There’s a trail along a waterfront area beside it and plenty of benches and tables sprinkled around. Every time I’ve been here people are wearing masks and respecting social distancing as best as possible. The kids still need to play. It’s a nice spot to do so while waiting to pick up the middle school kid.

What a blessing to live near this beautiful trail! I love having access to trees and nature every day.

This is a nice concrete trail that is great for running, walking or biking. Plenty of trees and grassy areas to see and use line the trail. The trail runs beside the creek which is also nice to enjoy. Picnic areas are located along the trail with grills you can use to roast hot dogs or marshmallows. The lawns are well maintained, but you need to be careful with poison ivy. It's everywhere along the creek in spring and summer, so don't stray from the path unless you know how to identify it (I included a picture of it). The trees also have lots of mistletoe which you can see in the winter. Not much to do about that, though. My only major complaint is with certain dog owners that let their dogs poop everywhere. There are trash cans and signs everywhere. If it's too much work to clean up, Plano also has animal shelters you can go to.
