I have a poor copy of an old, family tree which starts with John Carter. It was designed by RKC, Shirley, Va. It was engraved by Tiffany I am the great great granddaughter of Mary Burnett Bassett. Would I be able to view a better copy at Shirley?

It is quite possibly they may have a copy on file at Shirley.

Don't know for sure, but they do have some preserved documents from the civil war and the staff and family are very respectful about preserving any related historical documents. Just give them a call.
