Kind of...it has to be local wood...which seems silly but...NY state laws and all be like that
We ran out of coal and found plenty of larger pieces in other grills. No one is going to check your cargo or your wood unless you have a truckload of it.. Like a large visible load of wood blocks..
NYS has some regulations about firewood movement, it is advisable to check with the park office. Untreated wood from outside of NY is not permitted on the NYS campgrounds.
Absolutely. I recommend it. People sell wood on the side of the road which can get pricey for firewood.
