We visited our son at Gettysburg College for Family weekend and wanted to stay someplace different than a hotel. We wanted to bring our 3 pups with us and found a cabin at the Artillery. I didn't know what to expect. Loved the horses. The grounds were found with all the campers decorating their RVs. Our pups enjoyed the cabin. We really liked the picnic table and fire pit! Overall, great. It's a unique experience.

This was our second year to stay here. Love the lots in the back area! Clean bathhouse. Well stocked campsite. Great play area for kids. Variety of activities available on the weekends. We will be back next year for sure.

How much is the horse rentals or.hour?
Think so,saw large campers there,wonderful place,lots of history
If you are talking about historical trails of the actual battlefield - there are numerous miles. You can walk them or take a guided bus tour or drive them yourself. Stop at Visitor Center for best help & directions on where to start. As far as campground - I don't recall any trails within this actual campground.
Speaking for ourselves, we have been there twice, both with full hook-ups...water, electric, and sewer!!!
