Have to have your rv pumped out weekly on Tuesdays. Lots are very tight. The built in fire pit isn't convenient for use if you have a large rv (ours is 34 foot) only parking for one vehicle but there is over flow parking at other end of the lots. Kind of noisy during the day as they were relevelling lots as rvs left. Lots are crushed up asphalt with tiny patches of lawn.

Beautiful campground, but lots of room for improvement. We were supposed to stay here for a month, but after two weeks decided to leave..even after being denied a prorated rate for staying only two weeks instead of 4. The lakes and open area are nice, but the camper spots are extremely close together. We had no room to park our vehicles at our spot and still have room to enjoy time outside the camper with our kids. The first night we stayed one of our neighbors backed into my husbands truck damaging his bumper (making it rub on his tires), and would not admit to their fault. We brought the situation to the attention of the camp hosts who said they could do nothing about it and to call the owner. The owner said since there are no cameras there unfortunately they could not do anything for us other than encourage us to talk to our neighbors and hope they fess up. Another frustrating situation is the water. It is orange and stinks…has to be from rusty pipes. A few neighbors warned us about how gross it was when we arrived and were getting set up. Even after having two water filters the water was still orange…enough that it stained and rusted our brand new washer (bought just a few months ago) after a few loads of laundry, as well as stained our shower heads in our brand new camper bought in February of this year. (Photos attached.) To our knowledge this has been brought to the attention of the hosts, who have told anyone concerned about the water that that’s just how it is there and to get a filter. Our neighbors were great and we enjoyed their company, however we also felt that the campground in general had its own little “cliques” which felt unwelcoming. The people in the back there for work or staying full time are kind of on their own while the people up front with full hook ups are a more tight knit group with the camp hosts…can’t help but think that’s why they weren’t too concerned in helping us with their friends backing into our truck. Lastly, we also found it frustrating that while we were paying over $800/month to stay without full hookups, other campers were only paying around $600, with no significant difference in the size of camper or the amount of people or pets staying in the campers. I understand some campgrounds charge more for larger rigs or groups, however in our 6 years of traveling full time we have never been charged $200-$300 more a month than other campers. Having two children under the age of 4 does not increase the electric bill that much and we could only use their water to shower since it was rusty and gross. We were also informed that if we wanted to go fishing we would each need to pay the $15 fishing pass…I feel like that’s something that should be waived for campers who are spending $800+ a month to stay at the campground, especially since it’s all catch and release only. All in all it was a pretty and clean campground and when I did talk to the owners they were extremely nice, but unfortunately the cons definitely outweighed the pros for us.

Just stayed the last 2 weeks here and it was very peaceful and clean. I work remote and bought the internet package. It worked faster and better then the internet at my house. We loved going to the restaurants In yellow springs and the staff was helpful and so nice, Great experience. We look forward to coming back.
