Pretty sure they are banned at all state historical sites. I believe I remember it there. FL even protects anything invriver waters but you can checkbit out on line somewhere.

That's fine as long as you know that any historically significant items found have to be registered

Richard Marlowe | Nov 7, 2018

To my knowledge there are no signs saying not to use them.

James Farr | Nov 7, 2018

Yes, it's OK to bring a metal detector.

David Newman | Nov 7, 2018

I haven't seen any signs saying you can't.

Ken Pennett | Nov 7, 2018

I'm sure there's no reason to say no? Why would it not be? 🤔 Although, they have requested, no Droning!

Fay Henderson | Nov 7, 2018

You should call. Since the lighthouse is a historical site, it might be illegal.

Michelle Bull | Nov 7, 2018

I suggest calling, staff are very friendly. Collecting artifacts without a permit is illegal.

todd swilley | Nov 7, 2018

Yes it would be okay

Dennis Waters | Nov 7, 2018

I'm not 100 percent sure. But I did not see signs that forbid it.

Nick The Barber | Nov 7, 2018
