Did an overnight with my wife and some friends. The place is a work of art. The craftsmanship and woodwork are amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job at giving us some background of the property. And yes...in the middle of the night we heard what sounded like someone walking in the 1st floor hall and also upstairs. We think on the 3rd floor. Even though we were there for over 12 hours , we all agreed that we would love to come back.

What luck!! We finally found the Prospect Place open!! Absolutely LOVED the experience of touring the old place. Always a fan of old architecture, truly a hidden gem! We'll difinitly return.

Did a ghost investigation here. Aside from that its a beautiful mansion full of the rich history of many topics, one of the main ones being the strong connection to the underground railroad. If you are in Muskingum county make a point to visit. It is in the process of restoration due to decades of neglect but its still a sight and you can imagine what a show piece it once was.

An archaeological survey or the use of ground penetrating radar has not been undertaken at the mansion. We believe the cadaver dog seen on the television program hit on a groundhog hole; they are a bit of a nuisance in that area of the estate.
