Believe it or not but I found this place more creepy during the day than I did at 1230am. During the day before you go through tunnel the sounds of nature are prevalent but once you're on the other side of the tunnel it's dead silent....makes no sense.

Really cool place !

Note to self. If you see other vehicles or you come across a stone parking lot, that has to be it. There is a bridge with fencing nailed onto the sides of the bridge. You'll walk on it before seeing the Tunnel.

Cool place to visit. A little creepy though...wanted to walk through other side but a bit muddy.

For Halloween. Take a picnic lunch. Go during the day so you can enjoy the sight.
Nope

Yes. There is no one around regulating anything at all.
No matter what time or weather! ALWAYS a good time, especially around Halloween!!
These coordinates in Google Maps take you to where Hope-Moonville Rd crosses the Moonville Rail Trail. This is exactly where the parking lot and new bridge over the stream (Raccoon Creek) are located. The tunnel is an easy walk up a small hill after you cross the bridge and is impossible to miss. 39.308435,-82.324559
The town near moonville has been lost to time and is no longer standing.
Yes they have built a bridge
A love lock or love padlock is a padlock that sweethearts lock to a bridge, fence, gate, monument, or similar public fixture to symbolize their love. Typically the sweethearts' names or initials, and perhaps the date, are inscribed on the padlock, and its key is thrown away to symbolize unbreakable love.
Yep. Nothing to stop you
Oh yes there sure is. Man ive had many of good times there...
Yes, just don't get caught! Lol. Just kidding, your fine
Rhe is a pull off near the bridge to cross to thw tunnel
There are at least 2 ways you can do it. Easiest: 1. Take a picture of it with your phone. 2. Find the photo + icon when in Google +, looking at the Google Maps page/site for the Moonville Tunnel. 3. Select it in your phone's photo album. Harder: 1. If it is on your computer or you get it onto your computer, make sure you are logged onto your Google + account. 2. Search for "Moonville Tunnel" with Google Maps. 3. Look at pictures of Moonville Tunnel. 4. Search for the "add photos" link or icon. The icon is of a little camera with a plus sign. 5. Click it. Use the available options to upload your photo! We look forward to seeing your addition!
