I had my soul tested and it's missing many nutrients. How can I correct this without buying a bunch of different bags of nutrients?

Debra Verner, I think you meant soil tested. If so, it depends on the level of testing that you had done & what you want to plant in that soil that determines how you amend the soil. Different plants have different needs. In general most of our native plants like azaleas & camellias thrive in acidic soils, while flowers & vegetables prefer more alkaline soil. You don't have to spend a fortune in amendments. Ash is a good source of making things alkaline & things like coffee grounds, tea leaves, etc tend to make the soil more acidic. That is a very general answer to your question. However, for more in depth answers, call your county extension office. Every county in the USA has an extension office with an agent or many times a group of volunteer Master Gardeners who can address your particular needs. If you have questions for me, you can contact me via Facebook directly or via my page Azalea Garden Club of Pace. Best wishes on your gardening efforts.

If your soul is malnourished, then find a church and talk to the preacher.
