Yes excellent place!! I got kids of all ages and they love it... Take a lunch and make a day trip out of it... Wonderful shaded playground area for lunches...
Yes, they have a shaded picnic area. They also have vending machines for drinks. There doesn't seem to be many restaurants nearby...the closest thing I saw was a Dairy Queen, so bringing food for a picnic is a good idea. We've done it before.
Definitely can bring food and non alcoholic drinks in. Its a great place. Its easy to get emerced while walking the trails. The dinos are as life like as they csn be for being outside all of the time.
