The store has a map and you can download a app that guides you threw the park .
They are in various areas in the river beds. Pickup the map at the park office which directs to most of the sites. If the water level is up, many are not accessible.
Some are visible year round, but others are not very visible unless the water level in the river is low, because most of the tracks are on or in the riverbed. Some are further into the bed, and are underwater unless the water level is really low. They are pretty well marked, and the park station where you pay has maps that are detailed enough to find all the areas where the prints are located. There used to be a few well defined tracks a little further up on the bank, but a flood (in 2016?) washed away a large portion of the riverbank, and those no longer exist. So sad, because I have a picture of my foot in one of them (SO Cool!), and was hoping when I took my daughter there this year to get a picture of her foot in the some one. I am fervently hoping that there will be efforts to uncover more footprints in the near future.
Mainly in the water area! Go to the store and ask for a map. This is a huge park. A lot of walking.
Sometimes you cant see the foot prints do to water being high or muddy. They do have a display at the front office that was removed and placed there. So you still get to see them regardless of the weather.
Most of them are in the creek and lake area. You can get a map at the store. But we just winged it and saw them . They are marked with signs s on they are hard to miss. It is a fun time.
You have to go for a walk inside and ask for the map in the store.it has all information you may need
They do have a map for the footprint locations Most of them are in the creek but spattered in different places, you will need 10-15min walk from one place to other
