Ms. Garcia, I was in the Open Door Mission from November of 2017 until July of 2018. It is a good program and there are loving people on the staff. Once your brother has been there for 30-40 days he will be allowed to make calls (he will need quarters to use the payphones there so please send him lots of quarters). At the Open Door Mission, your brother is going to learn a lot about addiction, Jesus, and himself. Please pray and trust in God. He will be fed very well, he will be given clothing, he will always have a comfortable bed to sleep in. He will hear God's Word spoken very often, may the Lord use it to change him. As a graduate of the program at the Open Door Mission, I assure you that as long as he stays there, he will be cared for. Please write letters to him often. Receiving mail makes a huge impact. Thank you so much !! And yes we call many times to the main numbers they just keep saying we need to wait .. but when he goes in the program they said we can visit him every second Saturday of the month but now we can't ..
